River Walk beside the river

Apartment or hotel in Sarajevo, for families and groups

Separate bedrooms, a kitchen and a washing machine for four to seven people in one apartment.

For two people on a short city break, a hotel room in the old town is the simplest choice. For a family or a group of four to seven, an aparthotel such as River Walk gives you one apartment with separate bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, a kitchen, a washing machine and a living room, with a reception open at any hour, where a hotel would put you in two or three separate rooms.

What you get in an apartment

At River Walk every apartment has its own kitchen, a washing machine, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a living room with a sofa bed. Apartments range from 48 m² to 137 m². You can cook breakfast for children at their usual time, wash clothes mid-trip and sit together in the evening after the youngest are asleep.

What a hotel does better

A hotel usually includes breakfast and cleans the room every day, and the old-town hotels put you within a few minutes’ walk of BaščaršijaSarajevo’s Ottoman-era bazaar and old town, with craft shops, cafés and restaurants around the Sebilj fountain. Tram line 3 from Ilidža runs here.12 km · tram line 3 · about 17 min by car. If you are two adults staying two nights and plan to eat every meal out, that convenience is worth more than a kitchen.

Travelling with children

Children of all ages are welcome. A cot for a child up to two years old is free on request, subject to availability, so ask for it when you book. There are no extra beds: older children use the beds and sofa beds counted in each apartment’s guest limit.
