A taxi or an arranged transfer is the other option.

Ski passes, rental and lessons

Both mountains have ski schools and equipment rental at the base of the lifts. Ski-pass prices and lift hours are set for each season and published by the two operators; Jahorina opened advance sales for the 2026/27 season in September. Check both sites before you choose a day.

Driving in winter

Winter equipment is compulsory in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1 November to 1 April: winter tyres, or summer tyres with at least 4 mm of tread and snow chains in the car. Rental cars are fitted accordingly; confirm it when you collect the car. At River Walk, the underground garage keeps the car free of snow overnight.
